The local Austin Malibu dealer just had 2012 Axis boats hit the lot this week. Get ready for 2012 Axis boats in your area to start showing up. I just saw them unwrap a blue/black but have not looked inside the boat yet.

They're nice. Local dealer has one. Looks like the tower and cabin speakers have changed. Mines a 2011, but have the upgraded dash/glove comp. I'm hoping the new platform takes out the extra spray when surfing.

Some of the changes to the 2012 are: New stereo pack options. Sound pack 1 comes with sony headunit and 4 alpine speakers, Sound pack 2 comes with sony headunit, 6 alpine speakers and subwoofer, 2 alpine amps, and 4 tower speakers, And sound pack 3 comes with 6 wetsound speakers, wetsounds subwoofer, 2 Pro 485 tower speakers, transom remote, and two Wetsounds amps. It has the new glovebox, new swim platform, new gauges, optional hinged based tower, drop in cooler. They have an LS3 option now with 450hp and they got rid of the 383 raptor. They have a new standard graphics. They also discontinued Black Iris, Polo Green, and Pink. They left the deck and hull the same. We got a pretty loaded out black and yellow one in with sound pack 3 in it last week. I'll see if I can snap some pictures of it. Its definitely my favorite A20 that we have had.

I am pretty set on the idea of owning an A22 (just have to sell some land first ughhhhh). But the real question for me is ride! if the 09's are the same as the 12's a guy can get the same ride for a much cheaper price (not much for music when I ride anywhayz!!)

do you all notice a big difference in the quality of finish on the 09 compared? or have they held together well?

I have one of the first 2010 built so the boat was around in 09. Its held up very well... no complaints. The one feature that comes on the newer Axis boats, that I wish I had, is the transom cut out seat. There are a few reasons that I wish I had it but for now I will live without.

There aren't a lot of used Axis boats out there and the boats for sale, seem to be going fairly quickly.
