I am searching for a used Axis a20 or a22 in a 2013-2016 year. We will use it primarily for cruising and secondarily for tubing and surfing. Given amount of cruising, fuel economy and range are somewhat important. I saw recent review where they stated 2020 A20 had 5MPG+ at cruising RPMs. I was blown away as that is way better then my current hurricane deck boat. Can anyone comment on the mpg at cruise? Anyone hookup a computer to engine? Many thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a 2015 T23 with the 409 engine and I don't get anywhere near 5 mpg. I plan on 2 but I think I do better than that. Of course, I've never really tested it empty at low altitude. You know these boats are not designed to cruise, right? They're like tractors. |

Have a 2021 A22 but have not had it out one time for just cruising so not sure about the MPG . Kids go about 8 miles to the dam, surf about an hour, come back to the house and it's about 10 gallons of gas. |
